Student Perspective
Edublogs revamped their site on the weekend, which caused a few frustrations with problems in formatting and themes. Most students have them back to their original format
Loved being able to add an avatar into the sidebar and attaching to comments

Grade 6 students are completing their digital story using MS Photostory on their global project “From Me to You”. Will save as email size for embedding in their blog.

Busy week this week:-
Meeting with Parents - During latter half of meeting, I was given time to introduce wikis, student blogs, global projects and aims and goals for first semester. (Went well but I think parents were absolutely gobsmocked and I must remember that they know nothing or little about web2.0 for next time.)

Highlight of the Week
Using skype for videoconferencing and bridgit screen share to enable Jeff Whipple, from Nashwaaksis Middle School / Devon Middle School, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada teach my students about wikis and the flat tales project using his laptop screen, from his home.
